JP’s 2nd Annual National Reading Day was a HUGE success! We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of the schools that participated!

On Tuesday, March 2nd, JP’s Reading Day coincided with NEA’s Read Across America. The NEA calls for every child to be in the reading company of a caring adult. Generally, most schools across the nation have prominent guests come in to read to the students. JP’s Reading Day is different in that our students are the celebrated readers - YOUR students read to the visitors!

Selected Reading Ambassadors from each class read to an elected official or local celebrity from the area. Our Office of Programming and School Improvement Planning arranged for many visitors, press and media releases, and coordinated with participating schools.
