Tools & Training

Grant writing and finding other sources of funding can often be a time consuming and laborious activity. Below, please find a collection of tools that will assist you in your endeavor.

Principal's Tool Kit #1 - Creating a Grant Writing Team

This tool kit provides you with some basic strategies and guidelines to acheiveyour grant writing goals. The main focus is the creation of a grant writing team comprised of staff, parents and/or community people. The grant application process is not a task that should be attempted by one person. The recruitment from a pool of local talent allows you to tailor your team to the needs of the project. By making this task a team effort you will foster feelings of ownership rather than merely a sense of belonging among your staff.
